Carlisle United Community Sports Trust CEO, James Tose said: “We are excited to launch the Carlisle United Community Sports Trust Fun Run.

At CUFC CST health & wellbeing is at the forefront of everything we do, so this opportunity is fantastic for kids in our community to take part in a fun activity where their families can come down and support them.”

Run Carlisle Event Director, Ian Milburn said: “We’re now into our sixth year with the Carlisle Half Marathon and 10k. We did the Fun Run for the first couple of years, but it became too much for us to manage.

“Me and James sat down in 2024 and discussed the possibility of getting CUFC CST involved in doing the Fun Run again and here we are.

“We are delighted to have the link with CUFC CST and look forward to a great day.”

Borderway Finance Managing Director, Mike Deans added: “We’re delighted to be able to support CUFC CST and the excellent work they do, inspiring and supporting the development of our community through sport.”
