CLUB CHARTER

Carlisle United Football Club is now 120 years old and is steeped in history having competed at every level of the Football League pyramid since it was formed back in 1904.

We currently play our home fixtures at Brunton Park, having moved to the ground in 1909.

Located just nine miles south of the border with Scotland, the club is the most northerly based in the EFL and, as such, undergoes a huge amount of travelling during every season.

The club is also one of just two professional football teams in Cumbria and is always looking to attract supporters from a wide rural area.

Having competed at the top level once in the club's history, it is our aim and aspiration to do it again. We will continue to progress to our ‘goal’ in a controlled and business orientated way without putting any unnecessary risks into the club operations.

At the core of our activities will be our main three objectives - to encourage more supporters, in particular families; to improve the stadium facilities and to build a team which can compete at the highest level within our financial constraints.
