CRAIG DAVID ANNOUNCED AS FIRST HEADLINER FOR BRUNTON PARK CONCERT

CARLISLE WEEKENDER

Craig David is bringing his TS5 show to Carlisle Weekender for an open-air concert at Brunton Park this June with tickets on sale now.

Craig David, Sigala and Wes Nelson will perform on Friday 6 June - the debut day of Brunton Park’s Carlisle Weekender.

The “7 Days” and “When the Bassline Drops” singer is promising a live performance with a total blend of R&B and chart hits as part of his Craig David Presents TS5 show.

Sigala is a UK producer and DJ renowned for his chart-topping dance anthems and collaborations with global stars. He will perform his high-energy set on Friday at the Cumbrian Stadium, featuring some of his biggest hits “Melody”, “Lasting Love”, and “Came Here for Love”. 

Finance Director at Carlisle United FC, Suzanne Kidd said: “Carlisle Weekender promises to be the biggest music event and highlight of the summer in the city. There is no better place to host it, and we look forward to welcoming music fans from far and wide.”

Wes Nelson is also set to electrify the audience, a former TV star turned singer-songwriter, he has amassed over 1.2 billion global streams with hit singles and collaborations, including the UK platinum track “See Nobody”.

Creative Director of Carlisle Weekender for Carlisle United, Oliver Hodgson, said: “It’s exciting to announce such a high calibre line-up for the Friday at Carlisle Weekender and put the community of Carlisle and beyond’s enjoyment at the centre of it.

“Craig David’s TS5 show is incredible, and Wes and Sigala will create a fantastic atmosphere at Brunton Park this summer. Carlisle Weekender is about bringing top talent to the capital city of Cumbria for all the county to enjoy - young and old.” 

The event announcement was welcomed by Cumberland Council. Leader of the Council, Cllr Mark Fryer, said: “This is great news for Carlisle and the wider Cumberland area. We want to attract new visitors to our area as well as supporting events that encourage residents to stay local and boost our economy.”

The stage will be situated in front of the dugouts. Seating will be available in the East Stand and standing will be on the pitch.

Tier 1 - £50 (central seats in section 5 of the East Stand) 

Tier 2 - £45

Standing tickets - pitch level 

General admission £45

Wheelchair and companion tickets - £45. These tickets can only be purchased over the phone - please call 0330 094 5930 and speak to the ticket office. 

Hospitality packages - £100 including ticket

Hospitality packages are available in the Cumbria Lounge and the United Lounge - these can be purchased with Tier 1 seated tickets only and include a food package, private bar and central seating. 

There is a £3 fee on all tickets. U18's must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets T&Cs are available HERE.

Doors will open at 4pm and the show will finish at 10:30pm.
