Following today's in-house fixture, we caught up with Archie Davies.
Speaking to CUTV, he said: "It was tough, yes, definitely something I needed. I mean, it's been four months now, so just to get 60 minutes under my belt was really good.
"Obviously the main aim is to get back on the pitch and I think it's just about breaking them down and tick them off one by one.
"When I first got injured I tried to sort of carry on playing with it for about four or five games, but then it just progressively got a bit worse, so I thought the best action was to was to come out of it.
"It was a really frustrating one because I was just coming into my groove. I got back into league football and then when that happens, it's obviously it's a big blow.
"Then for the first two or three weeks, I was unable to do anything, so I spent a bit of time back home and just got looked after, it was just really slow for the first few weeks and then I think gradually I was able to get back running. Obviously it wasn't anything to do my legs, which was I guess a positive, so it was just about building strength back up in my upper body.
"I then eventually got to stage where I could come in and out of training sessions, but I wasn't allowed any contact on it, and then in the last week or so it's been back to full contact which has been really good."
On the medical staff at the club who have helped him through the process, Archie said: "Sophie, Adam and James have been great, I knew Adam beforehand so I know how he works, and he was on my case a lot, but that's what I needed. I feel quite fit now, so full credit to at all of them.
"There's been a few of us injured this year, so seeing the faces in the gym every day is a bit better so you aren't always working by yourself."
Finally, on the position in the league, Archie said: "We obviously aren't in the position we want to be in the league and when you're injured you desperately want to get back out there and help us climb that table and survive.
"I think that's the really frustrating thing, so hopefully now I can I can come back in for the most important part of the season and try and make an impact."
