United hosted an in-house training game at Brunton Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Archie Davies and Callum Guy, who were both returning from injury featured in the 60 minute fixture which ended 2-0 after Cedwyn Scott and Joe Hugill found the net.
Both sides were mostly made up of first team players with some academy scholars also involved as Mark Hughes continues to run the rule over his squad.
