VACANCY: Facilities Manager

Carlisle United Football Club are looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager to be responsible for stadium maintenance and to oversee health and safety provisions as well as equipment management.

This position is permanent, full time (37.5hrs per week). Based at Brunton Park and includes working Saturday and Tuesday evenings when there are home matches. 

Main roles and responsibilities –  

  • Organise, repair and maintenance scheduling, undertaking fixes, minor repairs and handiwork
  • Preparing the stadium prior to each home match
  • Point of contact for all stadium utilities
  • Manage projects at the stadium and external sites
  • Manage the non-grass stadium care team
  • Manage third party contractors
  • Maintain all Health and Safety compliance
  • Lead the annual SAG compliance – annual specialists reviews and inspections
  • Manage all site/premise compliance – licences, records and testing

Skills required

Proven experience as a staff manager in a facilities role in a position of responsibility. 

Experience of H&S management and administration. 

Basic trade skills (fixing/repairs). A professional trade would be advantageous. 

Good administration skills – task management and control. 

Excellent communication and organisational skills. 

Must have a full driving licence.
