VACANCY: Executive Support Officer

Carlisle United Football Club are looking to recruit an Executive Support Officer. This is a new position for the club and will suit an aspiring, driven individual, with excellent analytical skills and a keen business interest who is looking to start to progress and forge a career off-the-field in the game.

The successful candidate will assist the clubs directors on operational and strategic matters, support heads of department on project and work on initiatives to bring insight and improve all aspects of the club.

This position is permanent, full time (37.5hrs per week). Based at Brunton Park and includes working Saturday and Tuesday evenings when there are home matches. 

Main roles and responsibilities –  

  • Assist and support Executive directors working closely with CEO
  • Data collection and analysis and benchmarking across al the club
  • KPI MI business monitoring and reporting
  • Support and work on business improvement initiatives
  • Support business contracting
  • Compile and draft reports for the executive directors
  • Provide project support

Skills required

Excellent data analysis skills, with a strong interest in analysis of business and football data. 

Strong IT skills. 

Ability to analyse and bring insight. 

Strong desire to learn. 

Adaptability. 

Drafting reports and present to management and directors. 

Good organisation and administration skills, task management and control.
