Update from Cumbrians Elite
As we approach the seasons end, we can reflect on a difficult year but, as is always the case with football, we can look forward to next season with new hope.
Our Cumbrians Elite project is growing all the time and we need your help if we are to make it a success. The more members we have, the more we can do for you.
The response to our monthly competitions has been really encouraging and the members have really put some thought and effort into each task.
We can now announce the winners of our January task, the winners for February and March will follow in our next update.
1st Prize was given to Codie Robinson and her teams. They won 5 match tickets for the remaining home games in the stand of their choosing. Home form has been much better recently so we hope these new supporters continue to bring us luck on the pitch!
2nd Prize of a signed shirt was given to Jack Cousin and his team 'The Boys in Blue'. They will have to take turns wearing it but they are all good friends so that should be ok.
3rd Prize – a signed ball – went to J Wightman and his team. I still have one of those from the days of 'Pop' Robson. A real treasure of mine.
The April task is now up on the site and it is one that we hope will inspire you and give you a chance to help us. Check the site for details (www.elitefamilygames.co.uk/cumbrianselite).
We have a new quiz on the website at the moment and if you manage to answer all the questions correctly you will score points for your team. The same applies to our 'find Jimmy' competition. Our roving fox has been snapped on his travels – can you identify where he is in the photograph? If so you can score more points for your team.
These points will be added to the league table as we go along.
Thank you to everyone who has joined in so far. I hope you are enjoying the games and competitions. Over the next few weeks I hope we have some new deals and offers for members to enjoy.
Finally, if there is anybody reading this who would like us to showcase your sports team, group, hobby or anything of local interest, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
You can join Cumbrians Elite for only £5. Simply email us (support@elitefamilygames.com) or collect a pack from the club shop when you are next down at Brunton Park.
