Liam Noble on the away win
Midfielder Liam Noble gave us his reaction to the win over Oldham shortly after full time on Saturday.
"I said after last week that I wanted to try and keep my place in the team by playing well and I feel like I've done that today," he told us.
"All of the lads played well and it's nice to be a part of that again. You can't really ask for much more when you get a goal and an assist.
"We were the better team in the first half but there's no doubt about the fact that Oldham were in the second half. That meant we had to show a lot of character to come out of it with the three points and we're all pleased we managed to do that. We needed to see it through and I think we did that well."
"We said at half time that the game wasn't over and Mark [Gillespie] has made three outstanding saves to keep us ahead," he added.
"As soon as James Berrett made that tackle I saw the keeper and he didn't seem to be in the best position. I thought if I got it on target I had a good chance of it going in.
"Luckily I hit it well and it went in the bottom corner. I'm obviously really happy to have scored. It's right up there as one of the favourite goals I've got because it's such a crucial time of the season and those three points hopefully make us safe now."
"I enjoy helping others to score as much as I enjoy scoring myself," he continued. "That's part of my job, and obviously you want to score as many as you can, but assists are just as good.
"The whole team is important and you've seen Brad [Potts] and Peter Murphy come in a do a good job today. We need everyone to be working hard, which we all do.
"I'm one of those lads who just needs to be playing because I'm a nightmare when I'm not. I've worked hard to get myself back into the team and hopefully I've done enough again today to keep my place for Tuesday night."
