Carlisle United Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Matthew Dennis on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Dennis, 22, came through the youth ranks with Arsenal and spent 12 years with the Gunners before joining Norwich City in July 2020.
During his stint at Carrow Road, the forward made the loan switch to Southend United, where he scored eight goals in 30 appearances.
In June 2022, Matthew joined MK Dons for an undisclosed fee from the Canaries and went on to make 46 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals, prior to being released at the end of January.
Whilst contracted at Stadium MK, the attacker also undertook loan spells at Sutton United and Rochdale.
Sporting Director, Rob Clarkson said: "We are pleased Matthew has joined us for the remainder of the season.
"He is a talented player who gives us an extra option at the top end of the pitch. He’s really hungry and determined to grab this opportunity with both hands."
Dennis will wear the number 19 shirt during his time with the Blues and is eligible for tonight's clash at Rodney Parade against Newport County.
