Following the sad passing of Chairman Emeritus Andrew Jenkins, the date of his funeral has now been confirmed as Thursday 25 July.
Fans wanting to pay their respects are encouraged to come to the west side of Brunton Park (due to ongoing building work) around 11am as we expect the funeral cortege to be doing a lap of the stadium around 11.15am.
The cortege will then make its way to Pioneer Foods at Rosehill Estate before going to Wetheral Parish Church for the service at 12pm.
The club will be closed all day as a mark of respect on Thursday 25 July to allow staff to attend the funeral, including the ticket office, admin offices and Blues Store.
Ahead of our first home league game of the season against Barrow on Saturday 17 August, the club will pay tribute to Andrew.
