Carlisle United are asking supporters to take part in an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Survey as part of an annual commitment to the EFL Code of Practice.
The club is committed to promoting inclusion; confronting and eliminating discrimination whether by reason of age, gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, marital status or civil partnership, race, nationality, religion or belief, ability or disability, pregnancy and maternity, and encouraging equal opportunities.
This survey will help us gain a clear picture of the diversity within our workforce, players, and fans.
We seek to gain a broader understanding of our fan base's diversity by collecting data on factors like age, gender, ethnicity, disability, and religion.
Acquiring these statistics allows us to ensure we are providing the best opportunities and services for those who attend matches as we aim to create a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of background.
The survey can help reveal any underrepresented groups or barriers to inclusion, and understanding these issues allows the club to take steps to ensure everyone feels valued and treated equally.
We hope this can also identify areas where fans may feel excluded or overlooked, such as stadium accessibility, cultural considerations, or discriminatory behaviour from other fans.
Addressing these issues can enhance the matchday experience for all.
The data gathered from the survey can also inform the development of our club policies related to equality, diversity and inclusion.
It is completely confidential and only takes three minutes to complete. Should anyone require any assistance in completing the survey, please do not hesitate to contact edi@carlisleunited.co.uk, and we can arrange to support you with this.
Our EDI representatives will also be available every home game in the Northern Competitions Fan Zone should you have any questions about the survey or require it in a different format.

EDI lead for the club and Carlisle United Community Sports Trust, Teresa Mulholland said: "This survey is not just a formality, it is a vital tool for progress.
"Your responses will provide us with the insights needed to identify areas where we are succeeding, as well as opportunities for growth.
“It is only through your honest feedback that we can develop meaningful strategies to foster an environment that embraces diversity, champions equality, and ensures inclusion for all."
