Following the success of the “Backing the Blues” Exhibition at Tullie, we are delighted to continue our celebration of 120 years of Carlisle United, with a special event here at Brunton Park.
On Friday 13 December, Carlisle United are hosting an evening of celebration with our team of legends from the 1974/75 season in Division One.
The evening will kick off at 6.30pm in our new hospitality suites in the East Stand, where fans will get to mingle with our table topping stars.
Welcome drinks will be served, followed by a selection of Christmas canapé’s, before we get to hear from the legends themselves in a Q&A session hosted by Mike Zeller.
During the evening there will be a blind auction with items of historic memorabilia on offer.
We have managed to contact most of the squad but are still looking for three players who we have been unable to reach.
Speaking of the event Simon Clarkson, Carlisle United Supporter Liaison Officer, says “I have thoroughly enjoyed having the pleasure of speaking to the former players about this celebratory weekend.
"They have all been thrilled to be invited and keen to attend. There are only three players still to be contacted, so if anyone can help with regards to Mike Barry, Dennis Martin and Eddie Spearitt, please get in touch.”
