Paul Simpson on the Cumberland Cup semi-final and kit department update.
“We’ll see how everyone is today, whether everyone’s come through okay, which I think they have and then we’ll take it from there.
“It’ll be a strong side that we’ll be putting out because we’ve got a lot of first team players who need minutes.
“I imagine the majority, if not all of them, will be senior players.
“They all need to keep playing and they all need to stay professional.
“So that's what I'm expecting.”
Long-serving Kit Man Colin Nixon retired following Saturday’s fixture with Reading.
Paul had the following to say about the future direction of the department: “We've got a new guy starting on Monday. We're sort of rearranging the way it works in the kit department.
“Emma, who works in the laundry, she will oversee it all.
“We've got a guy called Bryan Rosary coming in, he starts on Monday. So he'll help with all the day-to-day stuff.
“And then [we have] Dean Scholey who's been working on a matchday, him and Bryan will do the matchdays together.
“It's going to be a team of three who are going to look after it all. Bryan's role will be during the week to make sure all of the kit and equipment is sorted with Emma, and then on a matchday, Deano and Bryan will lead it.”
