Manager Paul Simpson spoke to us ahead of tonight’s trip to Barnsley.
“They’re a good side,” he said. “They're a side who are probably flitting between Championship level and League One level, so we know it's tough.
“It's always a tough place to go, but again, these are the games we wanted to be involved in by getting to League One.
“We've got to go out and show that we can earn the right to stay at this level. There are 19 games to go and this is the next one for us, we've got to be ready for it.
“It's going to be a tough game. They're a good footballing side, they have strikers who cause problems. We've got to go there, roll our sleeves up and show that we have the fight and desire, but I thought we had that on Saturday, so we have to show we have the quality to go and be effective.
“We'll go into it and we've got to go and give it our best shot. There's no defeatist attitude here. It's a case of let's go and earn the right to get a result.”
This will be the first meeting of the teams since Dave Wilkes sadly passed away back in June, and a minute of applause is planned in the 59th minute to remember the fantastic man who had strong ties with both clubs.
“I really hope that everybody does pay their respects to a fantastic football man in Dave Wilkes. We've got to make sure that we put on a performance that's worthy of him as well.”
