Carlisle United are delighted to confirm that striker Luke Armstrong has officially joined the Blues following the opening of the January transfer window.
In December an agreement was initially reached for Luke to join us when the January 2024 transfer window opened.
Luke 27, has been signed from Harrogate Town for an undisclosed fee and has signed a contract to keep him at Brunton Park until the summer of 2027.
The striker came through the ranks at Middlesbrough before joining Birmingham City and Cowdenbeath. He then joined Blyth where his dad, Alun Armstrong, was manager.
His form at Blyth attracted interest from former-club Middlesbrough, he returned to the Riverside but spent time out on loan at Gateshead and Accrington Stanley.

Ahead of the 2021/22 season, Armstrong signed for Harrogate Town where he went on to make over 100 appearances, scoring 31 goals.
Luke will wear squad number 35.
