Paul Simpson on this afternoon’s friendly against Scottish opposition.
Speaking following the conclusion of our Sky Bet League One clash on Saturday, Simmo said: “We’ve got this game on Monday against Glasgow Rangers up at their training ground, so everybody who wasn't involved in the game today will get a run out in that one.
“Listen, there's loads of places up for grabs in this team and players are going to have to show that they want to, whether everybody is doing everything they possibly can to be the best professionals, I don't really know at the moment.
“We needed a game for lots of players, we've got a full first team group who are going to go there and hopefully they're able to go and perform and get some minutes under their belt to allow them to then push themselves to the forefront to play next weekend.
“I think there's only a couple of players today who you can really say they threw everything into it and who should be involved next weekend at Bristol.
“I'm not saying there's going to be eight or nine changes but there certainly needs to be a serious look at other players coming in and seeing whether they can come up and put a better fight up than what we did today.”
