Carlisle United can confirm that defender Max Kilsby has today joined Scottish League One side Queen of the South on loan until the end of the season.
Kilsby, 20, spent the first half of this season on loan at Annan and made 22 appearances and scored one goal.
He jonis the Doonhamers as they chase the play-off spots in League One having won 11 of their 22 games so far.
Manager Paul Simpson said: "We felt this was a good opportunity for Max to continue his development.
"It's a different type of challenge for him because he will be training with them full time which is something he'll have to adapt to. They are chasing a promotion so it will be a good environment for him to go into.
"We will contnue to monitor him until the end of the season."
