Carlisle United are delighted to announce a partnership with Fusion Trampoline Park and Jurassic Golf in Carlisle which will see them sponsor the Family Zone as well as Jordan Gibson for the 2023/24 season.
Terry Ablade, Jokull Andresson, Ben Barclay, Ryan Edmondson and Tomas Holy went along to Jurassic Golf this week to take on the recently opened 18-hole adventure golf course.
Commercial assistant Kerry Jardine said: “We’re delighted with the sponsorship Fusion and Jurassic Golf have provided. Fans who have been in the Family Zone for the last two home games will have noticed their fantastic new branding, which looks great.
“They were kind enough to invite the players along to Jurassic Golf this week and their competitive edge really came out in a closely fought round of golf!
“We’re looking forward to seeing how the partnership progresses throughout the season.”
Steve Jeffery, director at Fusion, said: “We are absolute delighted with our partnership with Carlisle United, some of the first team squad members visited for a very competitive and well received round on our 18-hole Jurassic Adventure golf course and went out of their way to meet and greet lots of young fans in our Party Rooms after they completed their round.
“They were a credit to Carlisle United and we look forward to welcoming them back again in the future!”
The winner of the mini golf was Terry Ablade, despite it only being the second time he’d ever played the game in any form!
Terry said: “I did tell the rest of the lads before we started that I would win but I don’t think they believed me. I managed to get a hole-in-one which meant I just beat Ben, which was satisfying!”
Defender Ben Barclay said: “I’m not quite sure how Terry managed to win, I think it was beginners luck! Me and Edmo are keen golfers so I think we’ll have to come back soon to see if we can beat our scores.”
