Carlisle United are delighted to announce the return of Forest defender Fin Back on a season-long loan today.
Back, 20, made 19 appearances for the Blues in his first loan spell away from his parent club last season, and became a real favourite with the fans.
His time at Brunton Park was cut short by injury when surgery was required for a nasty hamstring tear.
A right back who can play more advanced roles, he comes from good stock with his father, Neil Back, having played in three Rugby World Cups for England, picking up a winner’s medal in 2003.
Back has been with Forest’s academy since the age of eight and signed his first pro deal at the end of 2019.
Highly thought of by Steve Cooper he made five appearances for the first-team during the 2021/22 season, which included three outings during their Championship promotion push.
