Carlisle United are delighted to confirm that Pioneer Foodservice will continue to sponsor the Andrew Jenkins Stand at Brunton Park for a further five seasons.
This season will see the stand sponsorship go into its tenth year, with Pioneer having also supported the club with ground boards, match day catering and other partnership opportunities for many years prior to that.
Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: "After the announcement of the dedication of the East Stand in honour of Andrew Jenkins last week, I am delighted that we can now aslo announce a long-term commercial sponsorship of the Andrew Jenkins Stand by Pioneer Foodservice.
"For a further five years it will carry new branding and be referred to as “The Andrew Jenkins stand sponsored by Pioneer Foodservice”.
"Pioneer Foodservice is one of the club's longest supporting businesses. It has provided commercial sponsorship over many decades. Crucially, it has also provided financial backing to the club over the years with interest free funding.
"This sponsorship deal is a real win-win and we are pleased to be renewing our association with Pioneer as a commercial partner going into the future."
Pioneer Managing Director Graham Jenkins said: "When the club told us of their intention to rename the East Stand after our father we thought it was an amazing gesture.
"This was not something dad would ever have sought as, since he became a director 64 years ago, he has always done things for the benefit and welfare of the club, and never for himself.
"We thought it was fitting at the same time to renew our sponsorship of the stand with modern new signage to support the club in this exciting new era in League One.
"We wish Paul and his team every success this season. Carlisle United Football Club is such a big part of the city and means so much to the proud Cumbrians who live here."
