Are you providing a service to people in the region during these unprecedented and difficult times?
Have you changed your working practices or schedules to help to combat the virus?
Have you started to offer your products or advice via a face-to-face online platform, do you now do contactless deliveries, or have you simply adapted your business to meet the current advice being given out by the authorities?
We here at Carlisle United have a powerful reach via our social media channels and, by adding your information to this page, we can let people know just how much there is going on out there that can help them through this testing period.
Finance director Suzanne Kidd said: “We’re hearing different things every day from businesses and individuals around the region who are changing the way they do things so that they can continue to function and, just as importantly, so that they can provide vital services to people who really need it.
“It’s everything from small cafes and sandwich shops who are now delivering orders to the door, to restaurants who have never considered a takeaway service now providing that option.
“There are people who are offering bespoke advice online via Skype and Whatsapp, on a full range of products and services, and as a big part of this community we feel we can help to spread the word about all of these things.
“All we need people to do is to email us – media@carlisleunited.co.uk – and, once approved, we’ll add the details of the service provided to this page, and we’ll also mention it on our social media channels.
“We’ve seen through storms, floods, foot and mouth disease and other really challenging times that the Cumbrian sense of community always shines through. The last few unbelievable weeks have demonstrated that again.
“Please do get in touch if you feel we can help to spread your message.”
