Pupils from Trinity School came along to Brunton Park on Thursday to take possession of 206 tickets, donated by CUSC London Branch, as part of our extremely successful ticket donation scheme for this weekend’s #8kforMK fixture.
Speaking on behalf of the London Branch, chairman Ian Jardine said: “The London Branch membership has been enthused by the #8kforMK initiative that Carlisle United have proposed.
“We have been looking at ways of reaching out to younger supporters, through funding initiatives, over the last two seasons and this seemed to be an excellent example.
“As the London Branch members are scattered over the country, as well as the world, it is not so easy to actually turn up for the game, but members have contributed over £400 to the cause to enable others to swell the numbers and cheer the team on.”
“The Branch would like to congratulate all those behind this scheme and appreciate all the hard work that has gone into it.”
We hope the Trinity School gang have a fantastic day with us – and thank you from everyone at the club to the London Branch for becoming part of our ticket donation scheme for this fixture.
Thank you also to Terry McCarthy, the London Branch representative, who handed the tickets to the girls on Thursday.
