As ever, tickets have been selling fast for the trip to the Globe Arena with a bumper away support guaranteed on Saturday afternoon.
It's been tough going for the Shrimps so far this season, with long-serving manager Jim Bentley having parted ways following 17 years with the club as both a player and the man in the hotseat.
Derek Adams took charge of his first home game against Carlisle in the Leasing.com Trophy just a few weeks ago, but just one win in five home league outings leaves him under no illusions as to the size of the task ahead.
There were encouraging signs at Crawley when the new manager lifted his first league point, but it was back down to earth with a bump a fortnight ago when high-flying Crewe smashed five goals with no reply into the back of the net.
Our defeat at Morecambe last month serves as a reminder that positions in the table mean little when it comes to the 90 minutes, but United's new boss will be looking for three points from his first league game at the helm.
There are plenty of familiar faces plying their trade by the seaside, with Shaun Miller, Cole Stockton and John O'Sullivan all in the squad, and Stockton and Miller have five goals between them as they look to do their bit to get things going.
Lewis Alessandra is the other player to watch - he has five goals and two assists to his name.

From the head coach ...
Speaking ahead of the game, Chris Beech said: "This is what we would call a derby game, I suppose, and I'm looking forward to having some tremendous support behind us.
"Having heard the noise on Saturday at Forest Green I don't think anything will surprise me with these fans. As I've said before, we want to represent them in the way they expect and I want us to be performing to high standards every time we go out there.
"What we have to bear in mind is that they are a side who have some good players and they aren't just going to lie down for anybody. We’re going to have to work really hard against them.
"They’ve got four or five players I’ve worked with at Rochdale and, from having seen the characters they are, I know they'll be really up for the match.
"We saw some good things from our players at the weekend, but that's only the start. I'm going to keep pushing and demanding because I know we can be better. Hopefully we'll see more signs of that at Morecambe."

Morecambe twice took the lead in our Checkatrade Trophy group game at the start of September that same year but stunning goals from George Glendon and Macaulay Gillesphey took us into the break all-square. Then a first goal for the club for Jerry Yates, with 15 minutes left to play, proved to be the match winner as the Blues closed ranks to claim their points.
