Carlisle United’s final away friendly of the pre-season fixture programme will be the trip to Borough Park to face Northern Premier League Premier Division side Workington on Tuesday 24 July [kick off 7.45pm].

Another regular summer feature, the journey out west is one both clubs always look forward to with another good crowd expected on the night.

“We'll have played a run of weekend and midweek fixtures by the time we reach this point and, with just ten days to go until the season kicks off, it will be another good opportunity to get important pitch time for the players," gaffer John Sheridan said.

"It's another club we have a very good relationship with and it'll be good to go out there and meet them. The game will complete the set of away fixtures and will leave us with one more to play on the Saturday, before we start the process of building up towards the first game of the season in August."

Prices:

Adult - £10
Concessions - £5
Children - £2

This game will be played as a testimonial fixture for Anthony Wright, following his 13 seasons with the club.
