The high-flying Hatters come to Brunton Park on Saturday with Carlisle United looking to keep the pressure on those above them with a return to winning ways.

Looking ahead to the game, manager Keith Curle said: "As I said earlier in the week, our players go into every game wanting to win it. That will be no different on Saturday.

"We know what we have to do and that we're facing another challenge. However, this is a group that does not shy away from a challenge.

"Luton are a very good side, who have a healthy goal scoring record, but we have made ourselves very difficult to beat. We're doing the hard work to make sure we stay tight and we know that if we add quality in the attacking third we can beat any team in this division.

"Our fans have been magnificent and we know this is another opportunity to give them a performance they can be proud of. I know my players are determined to go out there and do just that."

The Man in the Middle

Our match referee this weekend is Seb Stockbridge - a regular visitor to Brunton Park.

He was last with us just two months ago for our 2-0 home victory over Chesterfield. Kelvin Etuhu and John O'Sullivan scored the goals and Gary Liddle was the only United name taken on the day.

He was also the man in the middle for Checkatrade Trophy victory down at the Globe Arena back in August when Hallam Hope and Jason Kennedy bagged our goals. There were no Carlisle names taken on that occasion.
