The Spring NCS Cohort enjoyed a successful graduation evening at Brunton Park earlier this month as a total of 14 students from Futsal, Caldew School, Richard Rose-West and the Lakes Academy came together to celebrate their success.
The Mayor and Mayoress - Colin and Ellen Stoddart - were guests of honour and they got to meet the students as they presented graduation certificates signed by Prime Minister Theresa May.
Another course packed with activity and enjoyment was particularly pleased to have raised £500 for Carlisle Key, a local charity which works closely with homeless teenagers and young adults.
NCS Coordinator John Sander said: “It was another excellent group of young people who put everything into the course.
“They have all been a credit to their schools and groups and I wish them all the very best for the future.”
