Carlisle United’s new 2017/18 season home and away bespoke kits have been revealed as part of a new partnership with Umbro, showcasing the renowned quality performance and technical designs of the famous double diamond football brand.
The kits feature on the new Blues Store window wrap on Warwick Road, designed and fitted by AST Signs, showing Nicky Adams and Danny Grainger in the blue home kit with Hallam Hope and Mike Jones in the carbon away kit.
And we are delighted to announce that the Blues Store is open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday 8 July for sales of the new Umbro home kits for Season Ticket Holders only.
Away kits are available to pre-order in-store now to be ready in time for the start of the season.
Please note - the Blues Store staff will have a list of 2017/18 Season Ticket Holders so a season card is not required.
The home kits are will be on general sale on Sunday 9 July when the Blues Store will be open from 11am to 4pm. Both kits are available for pre-order at the Blues Store now.
The home shirt is a traditional Royal Blue in colour, with a sublimation print to the front, contrasted with Red and White colours to the neckline and the sleeve cuffs. The shorts are White with contrasted Royal Blue side panels and Royal Blue socks, with a Navy and White band running around the middle adorned with the Umbro diamond. There is also an alternative Royal Blue home short which the team will wear on occasion.
The striking away jersey is a Carbon Grey colour with contrasted Safety Yellow highlights to the back of neck, arm sleeve cuffs and matching side panels to the main body to give it a strong look and bright appearance both on an off the field.
Both kits are constructed with great fit and bold styling at the heart of the design. Elongated articulated panels provide freedom of movement, with mesh panels to aid comfort and breathability.
Club captain Danny Grainger said: “The kits are fantastic. I really like the design and the colours used on both the home and away strips. It’s good for the players to be wearing Umbro again and I think it’s great for the club to be associated with a brand like that. I know the lads will enjoy crossing the white line in the strips because we know the product will perform well.”
Sales and Marketing Director Phil King said: “We knew when we started talking to Umbro that we were going to get a very high quality of service and product and the strips, training kit and leisure gear ranges are testament to that.
“It’s also fantastic to see the EWM branding on the front-of-shirt for the first time, with the World Group logo in its now familiar place on the back of the shirt, just below the collar. We think it has all come together nicely and we are really happy with the end result.”
Retail Manager Jenny Anderson said: “The graphics now in place in the windows at the Blues Store look absolutely stunning. They give a real sense of what the kits will look like and they most definitely catch the eye.
“We’re looking forward to hearing the reaction from our fans over the weekend when they come in to see it first hand. We've taken a lot of pre-orders and we’ve been working hard to get those ready, and to make sure we’re also ready to welcome our Season Ticket holders into the store on Saturday.
“We’re also open for the Fun Day on Sunday so all-in-all it’s going to be a busy and very enjoyable weekend.”
