Carlisle United will be holding a Summer Open Day on Sunday 9 July [11am to 3pm] with a full training session to be held on the Brunton Park training pitch as the main attraction of the day.
Manager Keith Curle will be putting the lads through their paces from 12pm ... and who knows, there might just be the opportunity for our younger fans to join in once the main section of the training session has been completed.
The manager and players will also be holding a signing session - from 11.30am until training starts on the day - where fans will be able to get photographs, autographs and have a natter with their heroes. The signing session will either be on the training pitch, or in the Neil Centre if the weather is not in our favour.
Our Community Sports Trust gang and the CUFC Ladies Team will be hosting a range of football activities once the main training session has finished, and we’ll have the usual selection of competitions, activities, fairground rides and inflatable attractions – it really is building up to be another day not to be missed.
Finance Director Suzanne Kidd said: “The Open Day in April was a huge success and we’re looking to do something along the same lines again in July. The highlight is always the opportunity everyone gets to meet the players, to get their selfies and autographs, and we’ll have plenty of other activities to make sure it’s another day not to be missed.
“Recent years have seen in the region of 3,000 people pop along and see us and it would be fantastic if we could get the same again. It’s an established part of the Cumbrian Calendar now and I know everyone at the club looks forward to meeting everyone and to putting on what is always a very well received event.”
Family fun, food, smiles and sunshine (possibly) – make sure you put the date in your diary and join us for another fabulous day out!
