Our Neil Sports Centre is reopen on Tuesday
Carlisle United Football Club are delighted to confirm that the Neil Sports Centre will reopen on Tuesday 31 May.Following Storm Desmond in December, the Neil Centre suffered structural damage as well as flood damage and has been out of action since.
Ticket Office Manager Tarn Simmons said: "The remedial work on the damage caused by the floods took a while but the process of returning the sports centre to the high standard we are all used to has now been completed.
"The dressing rooms and main sports area have been refurbished, and we think it looks fantastic. We're looking forward to welcoming our Neil Centre regulars back to their home venue."
All existing members of the Neil Centre have been contacted and will receive their first two sessions free of charge due to the disruption caused by the December floods.
We'd like to say thank you to DSD Construction, SIS Pitches, Esh Border Construction, PK Electrical and AL Daines & Partners who have all helped to restore the Neil Centre to it's former glory.
We would also like to say thank you to the University of Cumbria for housing our Community Sports Trust while the Neil Centre was out of action.
