A look ahead to the weekend home game
Carlisle go up against a Wycombe side who have hovered around the edges of the play-off places on Saturday and with just two defeats in our last eight games we’ll be looking to push on with three points to keep us right in touch.
The Chairboys returned to winning ways against Stevenage last Saturday and they’ll also be on the hunt for the points they need to make sure they’re involved come the end of the campaign.
Manager Keith Curle said: “We know we need wins now and that’s exactly what we’re looking for.
“We’re still there or thereabouts and there’s room for a team to come along and nudge their way in. There’s no reason why that can’t be us. We have become a very hard team to beat and we want to gain a bit of momentum by turning that into wins and strong performances.”
We have dedicated this fixture against Wycombe Wanderers to supporting the work of Kick It Out. For over 20 years, Kick It Out has played a vital role in ensuring that everyone, regardless of background, is welcomed into the community of football.
Their message of equality is extremely important to us at Carlisle United Football Club, and this is why we’re supporting Kick It Out today and encouraging all supporters to download their free app to eradicate all forms of discrimination from the game.

The Mascots
Our mascots this weekend are Eddie Taylor and Jamie Thompson. Eddie tells us that his favourite players are Derek Asamoah and Wayne Rooney and Jamie is a big fan of Danny Grainger and Steven Gerrard.
As for food, it’s either fish and chips or chicken and pasta. Nice!
Have a good day lads!

The Man in the Middle
Our match referee is Mr Tim Robinson. Tim has taken charge of 33 games so far this season and has shown 117 yellow cards and six reds.
We last met Mr Robinson at our FA Cup away meeting with Yeovil Town in January. Antony Sweeney bagged our goal in the 1-1 draw and Luke Joyce was given his marching orders at the end of the first period of extra time. Mark Ellis became the hero of the hour as he scored the winner in a dramatic penalty shoot out.
Our betting partner Sky Bet has some fantastic odds available on all match markets – click HERE for more details.

The Match Programme
Issue 21 of The Blues is on sale from our usual programme selling points and outlets from 10am on Saturday morning.
This week we have an extra special four-page interview ... but we’ll leave it until match day before we reveal who it’s with. What we can say is that it’s a fascinating piece with a long-term servant of the club.
Your regular favourites are there along with a comprehensive stats section to help you to track our progress as we head into an important period.
Priced at just £2, it’s a definite match day must-have.
