£1500 reasons to sign up to Square Pass
Last week we received our third £500 donation cheque from Square Pass - making it £1,500 raised by Blues fans this season!www.squarepass.org is a fund raising platform where fans play their unique fantasy football games for prize money and have the opportunity to donate to the club in small amounts.
Although these donations may appear to be only small gestures, these donations add up over the weeks and suddenly “next to nothing” becomes “something”.
We hope that many more fans sign up and play - the more fans playing these unique online games the more donations the club will receive.
The game which has created the most success for the club is the weekly Predictor Game. There is £15,000 in prize money on offer throughout the season, split over 43 separate Game Weeks, where the top three Predictors share £350 in prize money!
Square Pass is jointly ran by a Carlisle United fan, Christian Harding, formerly of Denton Holme and currently living in Melbourne, Australia. He set up the website over a year ago and we were delighted to be one of the first clubs to sign up and support his unique initiative.
Currently Christian needs around 400 fans to play the Predictor game to cover the £15,000 prize money for the 2015/16 season. So far just over 100 fans are doing this every week from various locations around the World. To date, over £3,500 has been paid out to Carlisle United fans in prize money.
We hope that more Carlisle United fans will help support Square Pass by signing up and giving it a go, and telling other like-minded football fans about the website. We at the club do not pay for the running of the website, it’s completely free for us, but the revenue stream that we collect has been warmly welcomed.
The Predictor game is completely free to play, as you receive 250 virtual credits every Game Week to place on your result predictions. We only receive funds when you purchase extra credits.
Square Pass and Carlisle United Football Club share one very special thing in common - without the fans, we are nothing ... so please sign up and give it a go at http://squarepass.org/signup.html
