Dawson in until end of campaign
Carlisle United have today signed Stoke City central midfielder Lucas Dawson on a youth loan until the end of the current season.
Dawson, 20, joined the Potters as a youngster and captained the youth team through a very successful period.
He was an unused sub for the Stoke’s Europa League trip to Valencia in February 2012 and has made regular appearances in the development and reserve squads.
"I'm really looking forward to the challenge," Dawson said. "I've trained with the lads this week and I've fitted in really well.
"It's a good chance for me to show people what I can do and hopefully I'll be able to get involved and help the team."
Dawson has trained with the Cumbrians this week and will wear squad number 34.
