Open training session now on Tuesday
Our Season Ticket holders are invited to an exclusive first team training session to be held here on the main pitch at Brunton Park on Tuesday 15 April 2014.
Please note - due to unforeseen circumstances this session has slipped back 24 hours - we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Season Ticket Holders can gain access to the session via the gates on the West side of the stadium – doors are due to open at 10.15am on the day (please keep an eye on the official website for confirmation of training session timings closer to the date).
“This will give our Season Ticket holders a chance to see the lads go through their paces following what I am sure will have been a very tough away game at Preston on the Saturday,” manager Graham Kavanagh said. “Hopefully it will give people an insight into what we do and it will give the fans a chance to meet and talk to the lads after the session has finished.”
Deputy managing director Suzanne Kidd said: “We are constantly looking for ways to make our Season Ticket holders feel valued and we think this is a good way for them to get up close and personal with the players.
“As well as watching a serious training session we will be adding a bit of fun for the younger fans that come along on the day. Anyone under the age of 16 who has a Carlisle United home or away shirt on will be entered into a draw, and ten lucky supporters will get to take part in a mini-game and training session with the players once the main part of the session is done.”
Media officer Andy Hall said: “We would encourage our Season Ticket holders to bring their children – sons, daughters, nephews, nieces – to this session. Youngsters under the age of 16 do not need to be Season Ticket holders as long as they are accompanied by an adult who is a current Season Ticket holder.
“This should be a good way to mix a bit of fun with the serious side of the work the players do and it’s an event we are all looking forward to.”
Please ensure you have your Season Ticket card with you on the day – access will be via our electronic access system.
