Latest on front-man Lee Miller
Carlisle United Football Club can confirm that striker Lee Miller had until midnight on Friday 31 May to notify the club on his decision whether or not to accept the 12-month contract offer made at the end of last season.
"Lee Miller technically had until midnight on Friday to let us know what his intentions are," manager Greg Abbott explained.
"We think he was away as that deadline came, and it's something we will pick up again early next week so that we can find out where we all stand.
"It's understandable that he had to take some time away, given the situation, but he also knows that we need to know what his thoughts are. We would expect the situation to be resolved when he returns from his break."
Lanark-born Miller, 30, signed for the Cumbrians from Middlesbrough in August 2011 and has netted 24 goals in his 60 appearances in a blue shirt to date.
