Player Biography

Midfielder Dylan McGeouch penned a two-year deal during the summer of 2023.

He was the subject of a tussle during his formative years as both Rangers and Celtic courted his services. A conversation with Neil Lennon settled the debate, and he came through the ranks with the Hoops to earn a first-team debut in a 2-1 win over Motherwell in 2011.

He had loan spells with Coventry and Hibernian whilst at Celtic Park, making the move a permanent one to the latter in 2015 following a successful 26-game stay. He made a further 93 appearances with Hibs, where he was part of the historic Scottish Cup win over Rangers in 2016, before agreeing to a move to Sunderland in the summer of 2018.

A 2020 January transfer window move then took him up to Aberdeen, where he made just under 50 appearances for the Dons before heading south again to Forest Green.

He was voted the supporters’ player of the season with Rovers in '22/23.

The midfielder also made two senior appearances for his country during a tour to Peru and Mexico in 2018.
