Lewis made the move to Brunton Park from Bradford City for an undisclosed fee in January 2024 and signed a contract until the summer of 2026.
He began his career at hometown club Shrewsbury Town, progressing through their academy, before joining Premier League side Southampton in 2015.
Having impressed for the Saints' under-23 side, the 'keeper was handed a senior debut during the FA Cup tie against Norwich City in January 2017.
A new three-year contract at St Mary's followed, before Lewis signed a season-long loan deal with Dundee United - going on to feature 39 times for the Scottish side as they secured a third-place finish in the Championship.
Bradford City came calling in the summer of 2022, when his deal at Southampton expired.
