Embleton arrived at BP from Blackpool in January 2025.

He started his career at Sunderland where he made 92 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

His most notable goal for the Black Cats came at Wembley, where he opened the scoring in the play-off final victory over Wycombe to send Sunderland back to the Championship.

During his time at the Stadium of Light, he had loan spells with Grimsby Town, Blackpool and Derby County. He made the permanent move to Blackpool in the summer of 2024 for an undisclosed fee.

The midfielder has also featured for England from U17 to U20 level.
