Adu-Adjei arrived at the Blues on a season-long loan from Bournemouth in August 2024.

He joined the Cherries in 2021 from Fulham and made his professional debut for Bournemouth in a 3-2 victory over QPR in the FA Cup. 

He scored 25 goals during the 2021/22 campaign for Bournemouth’s under-18 side and scored another 25 goals for the Cherries’ development side before joining Leyton Orient on loan. 

He made 11 appearances and scored one goal for the O’s in 2023/24.
