Members of the first team squad have been attending groups run by Carlisle United Community Sports Trust this week to mark the EFL's Week of Action.
Club captain Sam Lavelle and Jack Robinson were present at Carlisle Youth Zone on Tuesday night for the Premier League Kicks session, while Jon Mellish and Jude Smith went down to Football For All on Wednesday evening.
Carlisle United joined clubs across the EFL to celebrate the work Club Community Organisations do across the year and show support for their numerous vital projects, which engage one million people each season.
Sam and Jack were on hand to take photographs and answer questions from the participants of the PL Kicks session, a project allowing young people who are at risk of anti-social behaviour, youth violence or from high-need areas to regularly take part in free football.
The youngsters were delighted to meet the players and asked intriguing questions before breaking off into a tournament where the Blues defenders officiated some of the fixtures.
Jon and Jude joined our Football For All group to answer their questions before getting involved in a fun-filled kickabout with the younger members, giving them a moment to remember.
These player appearances are crucial to community engagement and allow participants to meet their heroes whilst providing positive role models.
Carlisle United Community Sports Trust CEO, James Tose said: "As the club's official charity, it is really important to showcase the fantastic work that is delivered for our community.
"It's been brilliant to have our first team players getting out and about in the community supporting the outstanding work that goes on.
"The EFL Week of Action gives us the opportunity to not only amplify our work locally but also nationally across the EFL in the Community Network."
