UNITED PART OF WREATH LAYING CEREMONY AS PART OF REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

On Sunday, Teresa Mulholland EDI Lead for club and Trust along with Billy Atkinson Carlisle United Supporters’ Trust representative were honoured to be part of the wreath laying ceremony as part of the Remembrance Sunday ceremony.

Teresa Mulholland EDI lead said: "Carlisle United are deeply honoured to have participated in the Remembrance Sunday wreath-laying ceremony, paying tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 

"This solemn occasion allowed us to stand alongside members of our community, reflecting on the courage and dedication of those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces.

"We are privileged to have had the opportunity to lay a wreath in their memory, as a mark of our respect and gratitude. 

"Our club remains committed to remembering and honouring those who have given so much for our freedom.

"The club and Trust are extremely proud of the continuing provision we provide for our veteran community."
