Carlisle United Ladies take on Wigan Athletic's Ladies and Girls on Sunday.
The league fixture sees United travel to Laithwate Park to take on their Lancashire-based opponents.
United come into the game off the back of a 3-0 defeat to Bolton Wanderers Girls, but a performance featuring many positives, will give the Ladies confidence that they can pick up their first three points of the season.
This tie marks Carlisle’s third away game of the campaign and United will be looking to stretch their unbeaten away record to three games, after picking up points against Whitehaven and Blackpool.
United’s opponents have taken three points so far from a possible six, having picked up a 3-2 win over Chorley in their opening game.
Last time out, Wigan faced Bolton Wanderers where they came out on the wrong end of a 5-1 scoreline.
The Latics come into Sunday’s fixture having played the least games in the league, meaning Carlisle will be facing a relative unknown outfit.
United will certainly not be taking anything for granted though and will be looking to put out another positive performance to ensure they bring the three points back to Cumbria.
