Carlisle United Ladies kick-off 2025 on the road at second-placed Bolton Wanderers Girls on Sunday at the Eddie Davies Academy.
United come into Sunday’s game after a long break with their last match being played on 8 December.
The clash sees an opportunity for a couple of young players to make their first team debuts.
Bolton are a strong side and have won all 11 games they have played in the league.
The Lilywhites currently sit second in the table, only a point behind leaders, Accrington Stanley and have played two games less than their Lancashire rivals.
Last time United played Sunday’s opposition, Bolton ran out 3-0 winners at Creighton Rugby Club in September.
The Cumbrians know that Sunday’s clash will be a tough fixture.
Wanderers’ last game came on 24 November, where they defeated Whitehaven 3-1 in Cumbria.
To update supporters, Wigan have left the league meaning United have lost the hard-fought three points they picked up earlier in the season.
