United Ladies face Chorley Women on Sunday at Creighton Rugby Club in the Lancashire Women’s County League Premier Division.
Carlisle come into Sunday’s game on the back of progressing into the Women’s County Cup final thanks to a 8-3 win against Penrith AFC Ladies Development.
Chorley were victorious in their last fixture coming out 4-2 winners away at Penwortham Town last Sunday.
Last time the two sides met, Chorley were victorious in a 5-1 win against the Cumbrians, despite a close first-half with the score being 1-1 at the break.
Chorley currently find themselves third in the league standings on 31 points, having picked up 10 wins, one draw and three losses from their 14 games.
Chorley’s losses have come against Accrington Stanley and Bolton Wanderers, the teams that occupy the top two spots of the table.
The Blues can move up a place in the league with a win on Sunday.
