We spoke to Harrison Neal ahead of our first home league game against Barrow.
He began with some general thoughts about the game, saying: “Obviously me and the lads are up for it, hopefully we can get our first win which we're wanting to do.
"It'll be a tough physical game, obviously a local derby, it'll be a good one, should be a good crowd, hopefully we can go and win.
“They've had a good start, obviously they've won the first two, but yeah, we need to just sort out a couple of things. There's been some good things in both of those games but hopefully we can start finishing our chances and not concede at the other end.”
Speaking on the positives in further detail, he added: “I think we've had some chances, I think first-half of both games we were probably the better side to be honest, we just need to sort a couple of things out and then it should be alright.”
The midfielder will come up against one of his former clubs this weekend, after previously spending a season on loan with the Bluebirds.
“It's just another game so hopefully we can get the three points.
“I enjoyed it there, obviously it was my first loan in the football league so I learned a lot of things there.
"I feel like it helped me but hopefully we can beat them tomorrow.”
Harrison also spoke about training this week, ahead of the game, he said:
“We had the game on Tuesday so we were just preparing for that and then it's just been all geared towards Saturday.
"We've been working on our shape, how we want to play, how they're playing and how we can work against it.”
Despite two defeats, the Blues haven’t struggled to create chances in both matches. United were ranked 10th for most XG (expected goals) in the opening weekend of the EFL.
“We've had a lot of chances, I've seen a stat over there saying like we had some of the most expected goals.”
"We are creating the chances. It's just about putting the ball in the back of the net and that'll come.
“We know Chaz can score goals and if he gets another one of those chances there's no doubt in my mind that he'll score it.”
Over 500 fans made the long trip to Gillingham on the opening day, and over 4,000 turned out on Tuesday night despite only the Paddock being open.
“Brilliant, obviously Gillingham, it's a long way to bring that many, it's outstanding to be honest and the other night here with only the one stand being open, they still created a good atmosphere.
With over 7,000 tickets already sold, we’re set for a special afternoon at Brunton Park, Harrison stated: "It'll be a bigger atmosphere, yes.
"Obviously I played in the derby last time but on the other end - it was unbelievable to be fair.
"Hopefully we can have that tomorrow and we can give them something to cheer about. Honestly we're itching to win so hopefully we can start tomorrow by getting three points.”
Finally, Neal had the following message for supporters: “Just come down and support us and hopefully we can put on a show for them.”
