Congratulations to George Nicholson who has been awarded the academy goal of the month award for October.
George is part of the U9 squad and scored a fantastic goal against Workington Reds.
The award is sponsored by the London Branch, and chairman Dave Brown said: “All five goals were great goals illustrating teamwork, grabbing opportunities and individual skills.
"The London Branch committee unanimously selected George Nicholson’s goal against Workington Reds as the Goal of the Month for October.
"We were impressed with his skill, cool head and a well placed shot to finish."
George and his coach Warren are pictured above with odd socks on to support anti-bullying week.
