Carlisle United, Carlisle United Community Sports Trust and Carlisle United Supporters Trust have supported the local Foodbank and Homeless during the Christmas period.
The joint-venture saw a collection of requested items in the run-up to the Blues' home game against Chesterfield on December 14, which were donated to the Carlisle Foodbank and 108 Mealbank.
Supporters and staff provided an outstanding amount of food and clothes throughout the week, with multiple bags filled to give to the charities to be distributed across our local community.
We would like to thank everyone who donated across the week; the generosity will help those in need during what can be a challenging time for people in our area.
EDI lead for the club and Community Sports Trust, Teresa Mulholland said: "As a club rooted in our community, we recognise the challenges many individuals and families face daily.
"Supporting homeless charities and foodbank collections is about more than providing essentials - it's about showing solidarity, offering hope, and building a stronger, more inclusive community.
"Our football club brings people together, and through initiatives like these, we aim to channel that unity into meaningful action for those in need."
Carlisle United Supporters Trust Chair, Dan McLennan added: "The Foodbank collection is something we have done most years.
"It is so important to do it at this time of year, and thank you to everyone who contributed."
Carlisle Foodbank Manager, Brenda Phillips said: "A huge thank you to Carlisle United, Carlisle United Community Sports Trust and Carlisle United Supporters Trust for their huge donation to the Foodbank.
"We really appreciate the kindness and support, which will enable us to carry on supporting those in need in the local community."
