The young Blues will travel to Oakwell on Wednesday 13 November to face Barnsley in round two of the FA Youth Cup (7pm kick-off).
United advanced to the second round of the competition after defeating Altrincham 4-1. Freddie O'Donoghue scored a stoppage time equaliser, before Lewis Lambert, Dan Hopper and Simon Rigby netted in extra-time to send Mark Birch's side through.
Meanwhile, our upcoming opponents booked their spot after a resounding 6-0 victory against Oldham Athletic in round one.
Carlisle were knocked out of the competition by the Tykes last season and will be looking for revenge.
