From November 2024 to March 2025, Backing the Blues: 120 years of Carlisle United, will be touring community venues and historic buildings throughout the city.
This community-led project has been curated with fans from the Carlisle United Collective, using a wide range of archive material, from the everyday to the strange and unexpected.
The touring displays will explore the exhibition themes of belonging, identity, people and place. Locations will include Brunton Park, The Market Hall, Botcherby Community Centre, Currock Community Centre, Carlisle Cathedral, Carlisle Archive Centre, and the Kings Head pub.
Check out Tullie House's website and social media platforms for details of special events, as we celebrate together 120 years of glorious triumphs, desperate defeats, last-minute heroics, and obsessive fandom.
