YOUTH: A look ahead to the trip to Wrexham

The Under 18s are on the road this weekend as they travel to face Wrexham on Saturday in their second Youth Alliance League game of 2024.

Mark Birch's side will be looking for back-to-back wins following the 4-3 victory against Morecambe last weekend.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Wrexham, Birch said: "The result against Morecambe was a very positive one for us.

"We know there are a lot of games left to be played this season and we now have to build on the performance last weekend into the game against Wrexham."

The victory against Morecambe has moved United up to eight in the Northwest Youth Alliance League, sitting on 14 points from the 13 games played.
